Senior NodeJS Engineer

Overview

The Senior NodeJS Engineer will play a critical role in delivering an innovative greenfield project for a leading Ecommerce client. Working as a key member of an agile team, the contractor will help design and develop systems and platforms while collaborating with engineers, product owners, and business analysts. The focus of the role is to enhance product delivery efficiency and to support team development through code reviews and knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement solutions.
• Design and build Node.js/GraphQL APIs.
• Review code and provide mentorship to team members.
• Contribute to the planning and development of systems and platforms.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in software development.
• Work alongside product owners to understand and translate requirements into technical solutions.

Requirements

• Senior level experience in modern JavaScript and Typescript.
• Strong expertise in Node.js and AWS, including SQS and SNS.
• Proven experience designing and developing APIs and microservices.
• Ecommerce sector experience is preferred.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases is a plus.
