Overview
The Senior Oracle Developer will join an international organization to enhance and develop Oracle database systems. The successful candidate will collaborate with a dynamic team to improve processes and create robust database solutions using advanced Oracle technologies. This position requires hands-on technical expertise in Oracle SQL development and PL/SQL, particularly in the context of a structured development life cycle.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Oracle SQL solutions based on business requirements.
- Design and optimize PL/SQL procedures, packages, and functions.
- Create and manage Oracle Forms and Reports for data presentation.
- Monitor and audit Oracle Jobs to ensure database performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with team members to refine data warehousing strategies.
- Analyze database performance and conduct query optimization.
- Engage in the independent management of the software development life cycle.
- Create and understand entity relationship diagrams for data modeling.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
- Proficiency in Oracle Forms and Reports (10g/11g).
- Experience with data warehousing and database 19g.
- Ability to write complex procedures, packages, functions, cursors, and views.
- Knowledge of Oracle job creation, scheduling, and auditing.
- Experience in query optimization and PL/SQL industrialization.
- Strong analytical skills with excellent communication capabilities.
- Ability to work onsite in Glasgow 2-3 days per week.
