Overview
We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join an innovative FinTech company focused on transforming debt management through AI and automation. In this role, you will collaborate with developers to enhance the deployment processes, improve the developer experience, and ensure the reliability of a scalable platform that's making a genuine social impact. You will work within a modern DevOps environment, supporting a growing engineering team while mentoring colleagues and leading critical infrastructure initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers to streamline deployments and improve the developer experience.
- Enhance DevOps practices, ensuring platform reliability, scalability, and security.
- Monitor systems proactively and resolve issues before they impact customers.
- Lead infrastructure, performance, and security initiatives across AWS.
- Mentor team members and help shape the future of the platform as the company scales.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and containerisation.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
- Solid understanding of AWS and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Docker and GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with Ruby on Rails, Databricks, and exposure to Datadog or Cloudflare is a plus.
