Overview
We are seeking a Senior or Principal Geotechnical Engineer to contribute expertise to onshore projects within the energy sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing engineering scopes, analyzing geotechnical data, and generating reports that guide project execution. Working closely with other engineering specialists, the role is oriented towards promoting innovation, safety, and quality across major foundational projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialist geotechnical inputs to onshore projects.
- Develop engineering scopes for ground investigations.
- Review and analyze geotechnical data and generate reports.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and external contractors as needed.
- Formulate resolutions to complex geotechnical issues and communicate effectively with project teams.
- Support procurement and proposals including geotechnical investigations and site surveys.
- Ensure compliance with ISO accredited quality management systems.
Requirements
- Master's degree in engineering with a specialization in Geotechnical Engineering.
- Chartered status is preferred.
- Extensive experience in geotechnics, including site investigation and foundation design.
- Experience as a senior/principal geotechnical engineer in a consulting environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead design teams.
- Good commercial track record in project management.
- Excellent report writing skills and attention to detail.
