Overview
We are seeking a Senior/Principal Full Stack Engineer to join a dynamic team developing an AI-first underwriting platform for the insurance sector. In this hands-on role, you will collaborate with a small group of elite engineers to design and implement scalable production systems while embracing modern AI-assisted development practices. The position involves shaping engineering direction and delivering high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop scalable production systems and features for an AI-native underwriting platform.
- Collaborate with a team of senior engineers to define engineering best practices.
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools to enhance workflow and productivity.
- Design and implement distributed systems and production APIs.
- Ensure system observability and security throughout the development lifecycle.
- Continuously improve engineering standards and internal tooling.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Python, TypeScript, and React.
- Strong background in system design and distributed systems.
- Experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of observability and security practices in software development.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools like Cursor or GitHub Copilot.
- Experience in the insurance domain is a plus.
