Overview
The Senior Procurement & Supply Chain Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing supplier performance management within a large and complex supply chain context. Collaborating closely with procurement teams, operational stakeholders, and suppliers, the contractor will focus on driving compliance, continuous improvement, and value creation. This position allows the individual to influence best practices across the organization without direct line management responsibilities, ensuring effective processes and stakeholder engagement are at the forefront.
Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) framework.
- Coordinate supplier performance reviews and corrective action plans.
- Develop and maintain supplier performance dashboards and KPI frameworks.
- Improve performance management processes and controls for increased efficiency.
- Drive automation and digitalization opportunities in supplier reporting activities.
- Ensure strategic objectives like sustainability and compliance are included in performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to embed consistent performance management standards.
- Deliver training and support materials to enhance organizational capability.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Supplier Performance Management.
- Experience in large infrastructure projects.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Familiarity with digital tools to optimize supply chain performance.
- Proven background in supplier management and project management.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
- A-Level, BTEC, or equivalent qualification in a related discipline.
