Overview
The Senior Product Engineer will work remotely as part of an autonomous team within a UK-based AI scale-up, focusing on building cloud-native, event-driven systems. This role emphasizes end-to-end ownership in a product-focused engineering culture, where the engineer will engage in discovery, delivery, and validation processes to enhance customer value. The contract is for an initial duration of 6 months, offering the opportunity to contribute to innovative technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop cloud-native, event-driven systems from concept to delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a DevOps environment.
- Own the complete product lifecycle, including discovery and validation phases.
- Implement iterative delivery approaches, focusing on MVPs and user feedback.
- Challenge requirements and navigate ambiguity in project specifications.
- Utilize various technologies including Python, TypeScript, and FastAPI.
- Ensure effective integration with databases such as MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
Requirements
- Proven experience in end-to-end product engineering and delivery.
- Strong product thinking skills with a focus on customer value.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver iterative projects using feedback loops.
- Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and relevant frameworks like FastAPI and Django.
- Experience with cloud service platforms, particularly GCP.
- Familiarity with container orchestration using Kubernetes.
