Overview
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager / Product Owner to join a major health data programme on a contract basis. The contractor will play a pivotal role in defining and delivering products that ensure secure and efficient access to health data. This position involves close collaboration with various stakeholders, users, and technical teams to drive product strategy and implementation, ultimately enhancing user outcomes in a complex environment.
Responsibilities
- Define and communicate product vision, strategy and roadmap aligned to organisational goals and user needs.
- Lead product discovery activities to identify opportunities and validate solutions.
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring priorities are aligned to business objectives.
- Drive iterative delivery, release planning and continuous product improvement.
- Gather and translate user feedback, research and operational insights into product decisions.
- Ensure governance, privacy, security and compliance requirements are considered throughout product delivery.
- Champion agile delivery, user-centred design and evidence-based decision making.
- Influence product direction, priorities and investment decisions across the programme.
Requirements
- Significant experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner or Digital Product Lead delivering complex digital/data products.
- Proven experience defining product strategy, roadmaps and delivery plans.
- Strong experience managing product backlogs, prioritisation and agile delivery.
- Experience translating user, business and technical requirements into successful product outcomes.
- Experience working closely with engineering, design and data teams.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience using data, analytics and user research to inform decisions.
- Comfortable working in complex environments with evolving priorities.
