Overview
The Senior Program Manager will be responsible for leading complex transformation programs within the life sciences sector, working closely with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders. The role involves governance and delivery oversight, ensuring the successful execution of initiatives across various business functions. The position requires strong communication skills to influence and manage stakeholders effectively, particularly within the context of consulting for large pharmaceutical organizations.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex, large-scale transformation programs within the life sciences sector.
- Ensure effective program governance and delivery oversight.
- Manage risks and implement mitigation strategies for ongoing projects.
- Communicate and present effectively to senior stakeholders to influence outcomes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across R&D, Supply Chain, Procurement, HR, Technology, Finance, and Commercial.
- Provide consulting expertise to support transformation initiatives in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Maintain stakeholder engagement through regular updates and consultations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Senior Program Manager or Program Director in the life sciences sector.
- Strong background in enterprise program leadership across multiple business functions.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills for executive stakeholder engagement.
- Prior consulting experience, particularly with large pharmaceutical organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder environments.
- Experience with program governance, delivery oversight, and risk management.
- Ability to work onsite for 3 days a week in Central London.
