The Senior Programme Manager will lead a team of experienced project management professionals within the Change function of a law firm, focusing on defining and embedding a change delivery framework. The role encompasses shaping, mobilising, and delivering complex programs and projects, while ensuring that the team achieves its objectives and engages in continuous professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of project management professionals within the Change function.
  • Define and implement the change delivery framework for the team.
  • Shape and mobilise complex programs and projects from inception to execution.
  • Provide oversight and direction across the team’s portfolio of projects.
  • Retain ownership and ensure the successful delivery of selected key programs.
  • Drive continuous professional development and set clear objectives for team members.
  • Build effective relationships and support the career development of direct reports.

Requirements

  • Proven experience at programme management level within a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale, complex programs.
  • Experience in defining scope, governance, and resourcing for programs.
  • Strong line management experience and ability to develop high-performing teams.
  • Capability in coaching and mentoring project management professionals.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • PRINCE2 certification is required.
