Overview
The Senior Project Manager will oversee complex infrastructure projects, including data center migrations and network deployments, from initiation to service acceptance. Working with cross-functional teams, the contractor will ensure that initiatives are delivered on time and within budget, while adhering to established governance and stakeholder engagement processes. This role requires strong leadership and project management skills to drive AI-ready data center initiatives and manage a variety of vendors and contractors.
Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale data center migration and telecom network deployment programs from planning through execution.
- Manage program governance, including RAID processes, budgets, schedules, and resources.
- Oversee fit-out projects for data centers, focusing on power, cooling, cabling, and security.
- Coordinate network deployments across WAN, LAN, and transport environments.
- Drive initiatives for AI/HPC data centers, ensuring high-density power and liquid cooling solutions.
- Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and telecom carriers, ensuring compliance with agreements.
- Lead project teams, promoting the adoption of PM best practices such as PMP, PRINCE2, and Agile.
- Ensure adherence to security, privacy, and health & safety standards throughout project execution.
Requirements
- 10+ years of program/project management experience in data center or infrastructure environments.
- Expertise in data center migration, fit-out, and build projects.
- Strong understanding of network technologies including WAN, LAN, and MPLS.
- Experience with AI/HPC infrastructure, particularly high-density designs and GPU networking.
- Proficient in financial management, vendor relations, and contract negotiations.
- Experience managing global teams and enterprise-scale infrastructure programs.
- PMP, PRINCE2, MSP, or equivalent certification preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
