Overview
As a Senior Public Health Engineer, you will support the delivery of high-quality public health engineering solutions across a variety of projects, ranging from large-scale commercial developments to smaller refurbishment and fit-out schemes. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that projects meet technical standards and client requirements, contributing to the successful design and implementation of engineering services.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of public health engineering design services across diverse project types.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate design activities and ensure high technical standards.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure compliance with company procedures and project specifications.
- Prepare and review engineering calculations, technical specifications, reports, and design drawings.
- Contribute to fee proposals, tender submissions, and client presentations when required.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance of all technical documentation for project delivery.
Requirements
- Degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent qualification in Building Services Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in Public Health Design Engineering, with knowledge of water and drainage systems.
- Familiarity with sustainable water technologies such as rainwater harvesting and greywater recycling.
- Experience delivering projects in commercial, residential, and mixed-use sectors from concept to detailed design.
- Strong technical understanding of building services systems and their operation and performance.
- Self-motivated with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to mentor junior engineers and work independently when necessary.
