Overview
The Senior QA Analyst (Manual) will be an integral part of a fast-paced delivery team responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of a live B2B poker platform across various platforms, including desktop and mobile. The successful contractor will utilize their strong knowledge of poker to conduct both structured and exploratory testing, working collaboratively with developers and the broader QA team to maintain high-quality gameplay and address defects effectively.
Responsibilities
- Run structured and exploratory test cases against C++ application builds.
- Investigate defects and follow through to resolution.
- Collaborate closely with developers to understand changes and focus testing efforts.
- Help shape test coverage and plan for each build cycle.
- Communicate test progress and quality status to the team.
- Participate in sprint ceremonies as a key team member.
Requirements
- Demonstrated senior-level experience in manual testing with hands-on execution.
- Strong knowledge of poker gameplay and live poker applications.
- Familiarity with testing desktop and native mobile applications on iOS and Android.
- Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and the role of QA within it.
- Ability to manage workload independently without micromanagement.
- Clear and effective defect reporting skills appreciated by developers.
- Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus.
- Exposure to automation tools is advantageous.
