Overview
We are seeking a Senior Radio Frequency Engineer to lead the innovative design of mmWave RF circuits for mission-critical satellite communication systems within a dynamic hybrid working environment. This role involves collaborating closely with a highly skilled engineering team to create RF subsystems with significant global impact. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in RF engineering, from system-level design to hands-on testing, driving cutting-edge projects forward.
Responsibilities
- Architect and design Ku/Ka-band front-end modules for next-generation SATCOM ground terminals.
- Run system analysis and propagation modeling using System Vue, ADS, and MATLAB.
- Develop prototypes and conduct testing and validation using RF test equipment.
- Perform high-fidelity electromagnetic simulations using HFSS and Keysight ADS.
- Analyze and validate simulation and real-world data with MATLAB or Python.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize designs at the system level.
- Create technical documentation and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
Requirements
- 7–8+ years of experience in RF/Microwave design for aerospace communications infrastructure.
- Strong hands-on experience with Ku and Ka bands (10–30GHz).
- In-depth knowledge of RF hardware components including LNAs, mixers, and PAs.
- Proficient in RF test equipment and tools like spectrum/network analyzers and signal generators.
- Fluent in simulation tools such as ADS, System Vue, and MATLAB.
- Strong understanding of link budgets and RF propagation principles.
- Familiarity with RF PCB layout tools like Altium is a plus.
