Overview

The Senior Security Architect will play a pivotal role in ensuring the security integrity of various technology and transformation initiatives within the organization. This position requires deep technical security expertise and enterprise architectural oversight, collaborating closely with teams to deliver secure solutions. The architect will be responsible for producing security architecture designs, conducting design reviews, and engaging in risk management while acting as a trusted advisor for security compliance and governance.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver hands-on security architecture and low-level designs across various security domains.
  • Review and challenge internal and supplier designs to ensure compliance with security objectives.
  • Produce threat models, risk assessments, and control mappings to identify vulnerabilities.
  • Define and maintain reusable security patterns and technical guardrails.
  • Provide assurance review reports and compliance evidence for audits.
  • Engage early in project lifecycles to incorporate secure-by-design principles.
  • Support third-party risk assessments and supplier onboarding activities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in cyber/information security with a focus on secure-by-design principles.
  • Proven experience working within formal governance frameworks for design reviews and audits.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, Azure Security, TOGAF, or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud, network, identity, and data security technologies.
  • Ability to create detailed threat models and security testing requirements.
  • Experience with Microsoft security technologies and secure cloud landing zones is a plus.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
