Overview
We are looking for a Senior Service Delivery Manager to lead a critical client engagement focused on service delivery within an Agile framework. The successful candidate will work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams to manage live deployments, incidents, and continuous improvement initiatives, with a strong emphasis on compliance and governance in public sector environments. This contract position requires active SC clearance and offers the opportunity to engage in high-stakes service delivery management and project execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of a multi-stream programme, ensuring structured planning, prioritisation, and progress tracking.
- Manage Agile ceremonies and delivery routines using Azure DevOps for backlog management and sprint planning.
- Collaborate with Architects and engineers to assess risks and plan remediation activities.
- Coordinate with operational teams for scheduled delivery of server patching and infrastructure changes.
- Oversee workstreams involving vulnerability patching and configuration management.
- Manage dependencies in alignment with ITIL change management processes and prepare relevant documentation.
- Monitor service delivery against SLAs, handling escalations and maintaining quality standards.
- Report progress to senior stakeholders, highlighting blockers and risk levels while ensuring transparency in governance processes.
Requirements
- Significant experience as a Service Delivery Manager within Agile environments.
- Strong background managing security or infrastructure remediation projects.
- Proficiency in using Azure DevOps for effective project and delivery management.
- Demonstrated experience in public sector service delivery and governance.
- Hands-on experience with vulnerability management practices and tools.
- Proven project management skills, including stakeholder engagement and reporting.
- In-depth knowledge of ITIL concepts and incident management best practices.
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting vulnerability data and informing decision-making.
