Overview
We are seeking a Senior Shopify Engineer to contribute to a retail scale-up's Shopify journey. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the shopping experience through modern technology. Your focus will be on developing and maintaining a robust codebase while innovating with the latest Shopify features.
Responsibilities
- Develop advanced solutions on the Shopify Plus platform using Liquid, Admin API, and Storefront API.
- Create reusable 'Sections' and 'Blocks' to enhance team efficiency and design flexibility.
- Utilize modern CSS and JavaScript frameworks to implement pixel-perfect front-end designs.
- Manage version control and deployment processes using Shopify CLI, GitHub, and CI/CD tools.
- Lead initiatives in customizing purchase flows with Shopify Functions and Checkout UI Extensions.
- Ensure code quality and scalability through best practices in software development.
Requirements
- Proven experience in developing on Shopify Plus with expertise in Liquid, Admin API, and Storefront API.
- Strong background in modern CSS and JavaScript frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience in architectural thinking and creating reusable design components.
- Familiarity with Shopify CLI, GitHub, and automated CI/CD systems.
- Ability to translate high-fidelity designs into functional and appealing user interfaces.
- Experience in working in a hybrid environment with a commitment to office collaboration.
