Overview

Staff Software Engineer | GO/Python | £600-£800/day | Outside IR35 Staff Software Engineer £600-£800/day Initial 6 Month Duration Outside IR35 Hybrid - Central London (3 days a week) Technical Environment - GO/Python, Kubernetes, Docker, Event-Driven, microservices architecture. We are partnered with a well-funded scale up in the BioTech sector who are developing software to support autonomous robotics. They are building cutting edge, fully customisable, autonomous technology to support critical workflows, enhancing efficiency, reducing errors and reducing workload. You'll join a new squad tasked with building platform features that enable customers to develop and execute their scientific workflows. You'll work at the intersection of backend, cloud, and frontend — a backend weighted role where you'll contribute to the 0-1 build of their, high-throughput, real-time, core backend platform. You’ll be a hands-on contributor who can move fluidly across the stack while also influencing architectural design. Experience building scalable software in Go (Golang), Python, Kubernetes, Docker, Event-Driven, microservices architecture. Ability to contribute in areas such as DevOps (Kubernetes) Experience building event-driven backend systems Experience building real-time or streaming systems, or systems with very high throughput demands. Responsibilities

• Develop backend features for high-throughput, real-time platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in software development using Go (Golang) and Python.
• Strong background in Kubernetes and Docker for container orchestration.
• Experience in building scalable, event-driven backend systems.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Ability to design and implement real-time or streaming systems.
• Demonstrated ability to influence software design and architecture decisions.
