Overview
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer contractor to work with a leading business intelligence provider. The role involves developing high-performance web applications and backend systems, while ensuring seamless integration across various services and databases. The contractor will collaborate with the development team on key projects during an initial three-month engagement, with potential for extension, and will be required to work on-site in London once a week.
Responsibilities
- Develop high-performance web applications using Angular and .NET Core.
- Design and implement APIs for system integration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and performance.
- Optimize existing systems for enhanced performance and scalability.
- Work with databases such as MongoDB and MySQL for data management.
- Participate in code reviews and contribution to best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Angular and .NET Core 7/8.
- Strong background in API development and integration.
- Familiarity with MongoDB, MySQL, and Entity Framework.
- Experience with AWS and cloud services.
- Knowledge of Python or generative AI applications is a plus.
- Must have the right to work in the UK and be able to commute to London once a week.
