Overview
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to enhance and maintain a critical Warehouse Management System (WMS) utilizing Blue Yonder and Java-based services. The successful contractor will collaborate closely with supply chain, product, and engineering teams to ensure the system's performance, scalability, and reliability while driving continuous improvement through automation and monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Enhance and operate a complex Blue Yonder WMS platform to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Develop and maintain Java-based integrations and services supporting the WMS ecosystem.
- Apply knowledge of Oracle databases to optimize performance and ensure data integrity.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through automation and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with supply chain operations and engineering teams to enhance operational workflows.
- Contribute to maintaining a high-availability, operationally critical environment.
- Utilize deep technical expertise in Java, preferably with the Spring framework.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Java development, especially within the Spring framework.
- Strong knowledge of Blue Yonder WMS and familiarity with SaaS supply chain systems.
- Experience with Oracle database optimization and transactional data integrity.
- Understanding of integration patterns for ERP, transport, and inventory systems.
- Ability to balance operational reliability with continuous innovation.
- Experience in high-availability systems within a critical operations environment.
