Overview

Senior Software Engineer - £400 per day Outside IR35 We're partnered with a scale-up business who have recently raised ~£80m in funding and are looking for Backend Engineers to join an initial 3 month project with extensions very likely. 2 days per week onsite in Hammersmith (you choose which days) Outside IR35 - up to £400 per day 1 stage interview process Must be able to start within 2 weeks Requirements Minimum of 4 years of advanced experience working with Python and Django Hands-on experience with SQL databases Strong expertise in software design principles and building REST APIs Proficient in Git, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively Deep expertise in a core functional area of the business or in a key language, framework, or component of the technology stack used to build the platform If you'd like to see a job description and discuss further then please apply here.

Responsibilities

• Develop back-end systems using Python and Django.
• Build and maintain REST APIs for application integration.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Implement and manage SQL databases to support application functionalities.
• Adhere to software design principles while coding and testing systems.
• Engage in regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years experience in software engineering with a focus on Python and Django.
• Hands-on experience with SQL databases and querying.
• Strong understanding of software design principles and best practices.
• Proficient in version control using Git.
• Ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems.
• Deep expertise in key frameworks or components of the technology stack used in the project.
