Overview
The Senior Solutions Architect will play a crucial role in transforming the Financial Services and Insurance (FSI) sector by leveraging Data and AI technologies. Working remotely with occasional travel to London, the contractor will engage with major banks and insurers, acting as a trusted advisor to define and implement modern data strategies primarily using Databricks. This position requires collaboration with both commercial and technical teams to influence decision-makers and drive digital transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead solution design and presales discussions with key clients to identify business challenges.
- Architect scalable and compliant data solutions using Databricks and cloud technologies.
- Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to shape proposals and build proofs of concept.
- Maintain strategic relationships with senior stakeholders as a trusted technical leader.
Requirements
- Strong background in Financial Services or Insurance with knowledge of industry data challenges.
- Proven experience in solution architecture or presales, ideally in a consultancy or vendor context.
- Hands-on experience with cloud, data engineering, analytics, and AI/ML, particularly Databricks.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with senior stakeholders and CxOs.
