Overview
We are seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst to join a consultancy team, primarily focusing on the delivery of mobile, web, and API-based digital solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with technical teams and stakeholders to translate business needs into structured, testable outputs, ensuring successful project delivery. This role is remote with occasional travel to client sites within the North West and offers an initial contract duration of three months, with a strong possibility of extension.
Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of mobile, web, and API-based digital solutions.
- Conduct discovery and requirements definition activities.
- Translate business needs into clear, structured, and testable outputs.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to discuss technical concepts and solutions.
- Produce user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, workflows, and prototypes.
- Facilitate stakeholder management and prioritisation of requirements.
- Support QA, UAT, defect management, and acceptance sign-off processes.
- Utilize various tools for effective business analysis and documentation.
Requirements
- Proven senior-level business analysis experience in discovery and delivery.
- Strong skills in requirements elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder management.
- Experience with mobile applications, responsive web applications, and APIs.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with agile delivery practices and backlog management.
- Proficient in producing user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation.
- Experience with tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jira, and Figma is advantageous.
- Knowledge of AI tools for business analysis and visual artifact creation is a plus.
