Overview
We are seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to join a client engagement on-site, focusing on the product direction of an AI initiative. This role requires a deep technical understanding to effectively collaborate with engineering teams and client stakeholders, translating business needs into a prioritized product roadmap. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in managing AI-driven products and be adept at navigating complex stakeholder dynamics within financial services environments.
Responsibilities
- Own the product roadmap for an AI system in active development or scale up.
- Translate client business requirements into clear, prioritized technical specifications.
- Work directly with AI engineers on architecture trade-offs, model selection, and delivery sequencing.
- Run discovery with client stakeholders to define scope, success metrics, and constraints.
- Manage backlog, sprint planning, and delivery cadence in partnership with engineering leads.
- Communicate progress, risk, and trade-offs to client senior stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to expand or improve the AI product post-launch.
- Lead the transformation of legacy software toward modern AI-enabled systems.
Requirements
- Proven Technical Product Manager experience, 8+ years, with several years on AI, ML, or LLM-powered products.
- Track record of transforming or modernizing legacy software systems while managing risk and stakeholder politics.
- Deep understanding of asset management, finance, or banking with strong credibility to challenge assumptions.
- Technical fluency to read architecture diagrams, understand API design, and discuss model behavior with engineers.
- Experience running the full product lifecycle: discovery, roadmap, backlog, delivery, post-launch iteration.
- Comfortable operating within a client organization and representing Conquer AI professionally.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging senior client stakeholders.
