Overview
We are looking for a Senior Test Analyst to join a dynamic automotive organization on a contract basis. In this role, you will collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and project teams to ensure quality and reliability of business-critical systems through rigorous testing processes, particularly focusing on API and integration testing as part of a major transformation initiative.
Responsibilities
- Ensure comprehensive testing of API-driven applications and system integrations.
- Create and execute detailed test plans, cases, and scripts.
- Conduct data migration testing, including validation and reconciliation.
- Manage and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify testing requirements and expectations.
- Identify risks, issues, and gaps in testing processes and report findings.
- Utilize Postman for hands-on testing and validation of APIs.
- Troubleshoot defects across multiple systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience in API, Integration, and Manual Testing.
- Hands-on proficiency with Postman for testing.
- Demonstrable experience in testing complex system integrations.
- Experience with data migration testing, including validation processes.
- Familiarity with creating and executing test plans, test cases, and scripts.
- Understanding of the software testing lifecycle and defect management processes.
- Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders and communicate testing outcomes clearly.
- Basic SQL skills for conducting data validation and investigation tasks.
