Overview
As a Senior Test Engineer in a leading R&D company focusing on electric motors, controllers, and inverters, you will be integral to the Test and Simulation team. Your primary responsibilities will include managing dynamometer testing and developing advanced testing systems while collaborating closely with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure the delivery of high-performance solutions.
Responsibilities
- Manage dyno test facilities, schedules, and perform testing, verification, and validation of electric drive systems.
- Design and implement test rigs, fixtures, and system architecture using NI LabVIEW and MATLAB.
- Analyze and evaluate test data for validity, produce technical reports, and provide actionable insights.
- Supervise and mentor junior test engineers, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Drive process improvements to enhance testing efficiency, accuracy, and automation.
Requirements
- BEng/BSc in Electronics, Embedded, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven track record in electro-mechanical testing, particularly in Automotive or related sectors.
- Strong understanding of electronics principles, measurement techniques, and signal processing.
- Proficiency in LabVIEW programming, MATLAB, and data acquisition systems (e.g., PXI chassis).
- Knowledge of DSP, Fourier analysis, and error calculation.
- Detail-oriented, process-driven, and possess a problem-solving mindset with the ability to work under pressure.
- Willingness to travel overseas occasionally and hold a full driving license with business-use insurance is required.
