Overview

We are seeking a Senior User Experience Designer for a 3-month contract, focusing on an employee-facing product in the financial services sector. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with product, technology, and business stakeholders to identify user pain points and translate complex requirements into intuitive designs. This hybrid role allows for two days in the office each week, accommodating those who thrive in collaborative settings.

Responsibilities

  • Map workflows, user journeys, and pain points to inform design decisions.
  • Create flows, wireframes, prototypes, and documentation for user experience.
  • Collaborate with product, technology, and business stakeholders for alignment.
  • Test design ideas with users and iterate based on their feedback.
  • Simplify complex internal processes to enhance user experience.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in UX design for complex products or services.
  • Familiarity with employee-facing, operational, or workflow-heavy tools.
  • Ability to structure and clarify ambiguous requirements.
  • Confidence in engaging with stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Strong communication skills for explaining design rationale and trade-offs.
  • Experience in financial services or similarly regulated environments is a plus.
