A leading travel client is seeking a Senior User Experience Designer to enhance eCommerce design with a strong focus on conversion across both web and native app platforms. The designer will work closely with product, engineering, and data teams to create user-centered solutions that optimize booking flows, checkout processes, and improve user engagement. This role presents an opportunity to significantly influence revenue and how customers interact with travel services.

Responsibilities

  • Lead UX design initiatives for booking flows, checkout, and payment processes to reduce drop-offs and enhance conversions.
  • Explore innovative search experiences to increase user engagement.
  • Enhance cross-selling and up-selling opportunities within the eCommerce platform.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and data teams to deliver effective, data-driven designs.
  • Conduct user research, prototyping, and A/B testing to validate design choices and improvements.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in eCommerce or transactional UX, particularly in travel or retail sectors.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating measurable impacts on conversion metrics.
  • Expertise in UX research, wireframing, prototyping, and user testing.
  • Experience designing for both web applications and native mobile apps.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
