Overview
The ServiceNow ITSM Tester will play a key role in supporting a large-scale implementation program by ensuring the quality and reliability of ServiceNow solutions. This remote position involves collaborating with various stakeholders throughout the testing lifecycle, focusing on functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing to validate critical ITSM modules.
Responsibilities
- Create and execute test scripts across ServiceNow ITSM modules, including ITOM Discovery.
- Support functional, integration, regression and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Ensure full traceability between requirements, test cases and test results.
- Validate functionality across Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, CMDB and ITOM.
- Manage defects through logging, triage, prioritisation and retesting.
- Prepare test data and maintain test environments.
- Support UAT planning, execution and issue resolution.
- Produce test documentation, metrics and test completion reports.
Requirements
- Proven experience testing ServiceNow ITSM implementations.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow ITSM modules and testing methodologies.
- Experience with functional, integration, regression and UAT testing.
- Experience using test and defect management tools.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and ServiceNow platform standards.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with ServiceNow ITOM Discovery is desirable.
- Relevant ServiceNow or testing certifications are a plus.
