Overview
The SharePoint Consultant will work on a fully remote basis over a 6-month contract to aid in the development of a modern intranet platform using SharePoint Online. This role entails engaging closely with business stakeholders, conducting workshops, and implementing a user-friendly and scalable intranet solution with a focus on content management and usability.
Responsibilities
- Configure SharePoint Online sites, pages, templates, and navigation.
- Design and implement structured content models.
- Configure and optimise the SharePoint search experience.
- Build light Power Automate workflows.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather, refine, and challenge requirements.
- Support testing, rollout, documentation, and handover.
Requirements
- Strong SharePoint Online consulting experience.
- Proven experience delivering SharePoint intranets.
- Good understanding of content structuring, metadata, navigation, and search optimisation.
- Experience with Power Automate for light workflow automation.
- Comfortable leading workshops and engaging with stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to challenge requirements constructively.
