Overview

We are seeking a skilled E-commerce Project Manager with expertise in Shopify Plus migrations to join our team on a part-time basis, working 2-3 days a week. The successful candidate will manage end-to-end project planning and execution, coordinate with internal teams and external agencies, and ensure delivery aligns with client objectives. This role requires a blend of hands-on project delivery and strategic consultancy to oversee transformative e-commerce initiatives effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Own the project planning process, including timelines and RAID logs.
  • Oversee the migration from current e-commerce platforms to Shopify Plus.
  • Coordinate with developers, designers, and Shopify agencies to ensure accountability.
  • Serve as the primary contact between technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate migration risks, ensuring smooth project execution.
  • Manage testing phases, including SIT, UAT, and staging reviews.
  • Provide post-launch support and resolution tracking for any outstanding issues.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in e-commerce project management and platform migrations.
  • Hands-on expertise with Shopify Plus is essential.
  • Ability to manage technical workstreams involving data migration and integrations.
  • Strong experience with structured project management processes.
  • Confidence in managing external vendors and teams.
  • Clear and effective communicator, adaptable to various stakeholder levels.
  • Organized with a strong attention to detail, maintaining quality under tight deadlines.
