Overview
We are seeking an experienced SimCorp Business Analyst / Consultant to support a strategic data transformation programme at an investment management organization. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, technology teams, and data specialists to implement a new Snowflake-based data platform. The consultant will leverage their expertise in SimCorp Dimension to bridge communication gaps, facilitate workshops, and ensure business requirements are effectively translated into technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Act as the SME for SimCorp Dimension, aiding in the design and implementation of the new Snowflake data model.
- Collaborate with business, technology, and data teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements.
- Document existing SimCorp data structures, processes, and integrations.
- Define and map data flows between SimCorp and the target Snowflake environment.
- Analyze front, middle, and back-office data requirements across investment operations.
- Produce high-quality business and functional documentation, including process flows and data mappings.
- Facilitate workshops with stakeholders from various functions.
- Support data validation, reconciliation, and testing activities across the programme.
Requirements
- Extensive Business Analysis experience within Asset or Investment Management.
- Deep hands-on knowledge of SimCorp Dimension.
- Strong understanding of investment data, including holdings, transactions, positions, and securities.
- Experience in data transformation or data platform programmes.
- Proven experience in defining data lineage, mappings, and data models.
- Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
- Desirable: Experience with Snowflake implementations or data platforms.
- Desirable: Exposure to SQL, data analysis, and reconciliation activities.
