Overview
We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer for a fully remote, 3-6 month contract with a leading consultancy. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a team to enhance platform reliability and operational excellence within Azure environments, leveraging their expertise in automation and monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Improve platform reliability through automation and operational excellence in Azure environments.
- Build and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement and manage monitoring, observability, and alerting solutions.
- Support and optimize .NET applications deployed in Azure.
- Automate infrastructure deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Troubleshoot incidents and perform root cause analysis efficiently.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Platform Engineer.
- Expertise in Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps.
- Proven experience in implementing monitoring and alerting solutions such as Azure Monitor or DataDog.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably using Terraform.
- Background in supporting .NET applications in Azure.
- Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.
- Excellent communication skills with stakeholders.
