Overview
We are seeking experienced Software Engineers proficient in JavaScript and TypeScript for a long-term program within the defence sector. The role is fully remote and involves collaborating with Agile delivery teams on both frontend and backend development tasks. Contractors will work on critical projects requiring active SC clearance, contributing their expertise in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software applications using JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Collaborate with Agile teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Implement frontend and backend functionalities using React and/or Node.js.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverables.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement processes.
- Support the integration and deployment of applications in production environments.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
- Experience with React and/or Node.js in a development capacity.
- Background in frontend, backend, or full stack development.
- Experience working in Agile delivery teams.
- Active SC Clearance (currently valid).
- Desirable: Current DV Clearance and experience in Defence or Public Sector projects.
