Software Engineer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer for a 6-month contract with a rapidly scaling technology business. In this hybrid role, you will work primarily on migrating legacy .Net code to modern JavaScript frameworks including Typescript, React, and Node. You’ll collaborate with a team of skilled professionals to drive technical solutions, contributing to various aspects of software development and migration efforts.

Responsibilities

• Work on migrating legacy .Net code to Typescript.
• Utilize .Net Core, React, and Node in development tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to design and implement software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality.
• Address bugs and improve existing codebase as necessary.
• Support project documentation and technical specifications.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Software Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of .Net, C#, and Typescript.
• Experience with React and Node frameworks.
• Prior experience with code migration projects is a plus.
• Ability to work onsite 3 days a week in Bristol.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies is advantageous.
