Overview
We are seeking a Contract Software Engineer to contribute to a large-scale SaaS product. The ideal candidate will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver impactful results, leveraging their expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript. This role requires immediate hands-on development while simultaneously driving project progress.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance software solutions using JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to align project goals and timelines.
- Implement serverless architectures using AWS, Lambdas, and microservices.
- Create and maintain APIs to support end-user functionalities.
- Engage in troubleshooting and optimizing existing code bases.
- Drive project initiatives to ensure timely delivery and impact.
Requirements
- Proven experience with JavaScript and TypeScript, especially in both frontend and backend development.
- Strong proficiency in React and Node.js.
- Experience with AWS services, particularly Lambdas and serverless architecture.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures and microservices.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative on projects.
- Previous experience in a contract role is desirable, but not mandatory.
