Overview
The Solution Architect will play a pivotal role in a major architecture transformation program for a prominent Government Agency in the healthcare sector. This role involves collaborating closely with the Enterprise Architect and other technical teams to implement and pilot a new Architecture Operating Model while promoting best practices in solution architecture. The contractor will work remotely within the UK and will be integral to defining architecture processes and delivering design artifacts throughout the project.
Responsibilities
- Support the Enterprise Architect in implementing a new Architecture Operating Model.
- Provide Solution Architecture input into the Medical Information Data Analysis System (MIDAS) project.
- Deliver design artifacts and ensure governance approvals are obtained.
- Aid in the rollout of architecture maturity improvements and initiatives.
- Coach and mentor existing and newly appointed Solution Architects.
- Promote best practice and adherence to architecture standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect in large, complex organizations, preferably in the UK public sector or healthcare.
- Familiarity with Government Digital Services (GDS).
- Microsoft Certified in Azure and Power Platform.
- Hands-on experience with PowerApps and MS Dynamics.
- Strong understanding of enterprise and solution architecture frameworks and methodologies.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to coach and influence technical teams.
