Overview
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join a major banking client on a Mobile and Open Banking programme. The contractor will work on high-impact digital banking initiatives, focusing on architecture design and implementation while collaborating with various stakeholders. This is an initial six-month contract with the opportunity to extend for up to 18 months, allowing for remote work and occasional travel to Dublin.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Azure-based architectures for banking solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals.
- Utilize microservices architecture principles to drive development processes.
- Create and maintain High Level Design (HLD) and Low Level Design (LLD) documentation.
- Apply architectural and design tools such as Draw.io, UML, and PlantUML effectively.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams on best practices.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Java and React development.
- In-depth knowledge of architecture design patterns.
- Proven track record with Azure architecture implementations.
- Familiarity with architecture and design tools like Draw.io and UML.
- Ability to produce High Level and Low Level Design documentation.
