Overview
We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to contribute to a significant government programme focused on secure, mission-critical infrastructure and innovative technology services. The contractor will design end-to-end technical solutions and collaborate with engineering teams, ensuring the delivery of secure platforms in highly classified environments. This role requires strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to present designs to the Technical Design Authority, making it essential to have expertise in secure Government or Defence environments.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end technical solutions for secure, mission-critical infrastructure.
- Produce high and low-level designs to guide implementation.
- Present technical designs to the Technical Design Authority.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to deliver secure platforms.
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment and governance throughout the project.
- Implement solutions for private and hybrid cloud infrastructure transformations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect within secure Government or Defence environments.
- Expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation (vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, NSX-T, Aria).
- Experience with private and hybrid cloud infrastructure migrations.
- Knowledge of high availability, resilience, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Familiarity with F5, NGINX, or VMware Avi load balancing.
- Proficiency with Microsoft and Linux platforms.
- Understanding of Zero Trust and secure infrastructure design.
