Overview
The Solutions Architect will play a pivotal role in a digital banking transformation project for a leading software consultancy. Focusing on designing solutions across mobile, omnichannel, and microservices platforms, the architect will collaborate with various stakeholders in a complex, multi-vendor environment. This is a remote position catering to candidates from the UK or Ireland, with occasional travel to London or Dublin, for which expenses will be reimbursed.
Responsibilities
- Design robust solutions for mobile and omnichannel banking platforms.
- Collaborate with teams to implement microservices architecture.
- Create high and low-level designs using tools such as Draw.io, UML, and PlantUML.
- Engage with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs.
- Evaluate and recommend Azure architecture best practices.
- Ensure smooth integration in a multi-vendor environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect, preferably in the banking sector.
- Strong background in Java, React, and microservices.
- Extensive experience with Azure architecture and cloud solutions.
- Proficient in design methodologies and tools, including UML and Draw.io.
- Ability to work remotely while effectively managing communication across teams.
