Overview
We are seeking a Solutions Architect to join our architecture team on an initial six-month contract, working primarily on client-site three days a week. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with various teams to design and implement effective architecture solutions that meet business needs, all while driving innovation and improvement in technology systems. The successful candidate will take ownership of impactful projects, guiding technical strategies and shaping the future of a brand that is cherished by millions.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex solutions architectures that meet business requirements and drive efficiency.
- Evaluate existing systems and recommend enhancements to improve functionality and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create integrated solutions, ensuring compatibility and interoperability.
- Provide technical leadership and strategy throughout the project lifecycle, from proof-of-concept to production.
- Develop and maintain architecture documentation, including diagrams, standards, and guidelines.
- Conduct architecture and design reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.
- Mentor and train junior architects and engineering teams, promoting best practices in system design and deployment.
- Stay updated on technology trends and emerging technologies to recommend new systems and solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or similar role in a complex environment.
- Strong understanding of Solutions architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- In-depth knowledge of various architecture frameworks and methodologies.
- Experience with cloud technologies, particularly Azure, and expertise in cloud architecture.
- Solid background in software development and infrastructure design.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on performance optimization and scalability.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, continuous integration, and deployment strategies.
