Overview
We are seeking a Solutions Architect for a six-month contract, focusing on delivering robust architecture solutions that drive business efficiency and innovation. As part of a dynamic Architecture team, the successful candidate will work client-side three days a week, collaborating closely with various stakeholders to align technology initiatives with business outcomes. This role is critical in shaping the architecture of impactful projects, providing technical leadership, and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence within the team.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex solutions architectures that meet business requirements and drive efficiency.
- Evaluate existing systems and recommend enhancements to improve functionality and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create integrated solutions, ensuring compatibility and interoperability.
- Provide technical leadership and strategy throughout the project lifecycle, from proof-of-concept to production.
- Develop and maintain architecture documentation, including diagrams, standards, and guidelines.
- Conduct architecture and design reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.
- Mentor and train junior architects and engineering teams, promoting best practices in system design and deployment.
- Work closely with project management to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or similar role in a complex environment.
- Strong understanding of Solutions architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- In-depth knowledge of various architecture frameworks and methodologies.
- Experience with cloud technologies, particularly Azure, and expertise in cloud architecture.
- Solid background in software development and infrastructure design.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on performance optimization and scalability.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, continuous integration, and deployment strategies.
