Overview
The Spacecraft Systems Engineer will work on a commercial spacecraft program approaching launch, focusing on the development and execution of test procedures for spacecraft platforms. This contract position requires collaboration across mechanical, thermal, and electrical engineering disciplines to ensure project deadlines are met, with potential weekend work during testing phases.
Responsibilities
- Write, update, and execute test procedures at FM/EM/QM levels.
- Collaborate across mechanical, thermal, and electrical engineering teams.
- Ensure compliance with stringent project schedules and requirements.
- Manage requirements and verification processes for the spacecraft.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with spacecraft platforms.
- Proven ability to write and execute test procedures at FM/EM/QM levels.
- Familiarity with MAIT/AIV/AIT processes at the spacecraft level.
- Experience in full lifecycle systems engineering.
- Knowledge of requirements and verification management.
- BPSS required; SC clearance preferred.
