Overview
We are seeking an SC Cleared Sparx EA Repository Manager for a 6-month contract role within a leading technology consultancy. The successful candidate will take charge of the design, administration, and governance of Sparx EA repositories in complex enterprise settings. Collaborating with enterprise architects, data architects, and business analysts, the focus will be on optimizing the structure and standardization of Sparx repositories to facilitate collaboration across large-scale programs.
Responsibilities
- Lead the administration of Sparx EA repositories, including setup and maintenance.
- Manage repository migrations and upgrades from platforms like AWS to Azure.
- Implement meta-model updates and merge multiple repositories across business units.
- Develop and maintain custom Model Driven Generation (MDG) profiles supporting architecture frameworks.
- Define and enforce modeling standards and create Sparx EA guidelines.
- Provide expert guidance on Sparx EA usage to architects and analysts.
- Troubleshoot repository issues and ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain consistency and integrity of architecture artefacts across projects.
Requirements
- Expert-level experience with Sparx EA repository setup and administration.
- Strong understanding of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and ArchiMate.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large federated Sparx EA environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Familiarity with version control in Sparx repository management.
- Valid SC clearance is required; previous MOD/Army experience is highly desirable.
