Overview
We are seeking an experienced SQL Developer for a 6-month contract in a hybrid working arrangement, primarily supporting the Business Intelligence team. The contractor will focus on designing, developing, and optimizing SQL-based Data Warehouse and Master Data Management solutions, collaborating closely with subject matter experts to deliver effective data solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize SQL Server objects including views, stored procedures, and ETL processes.
- Maintain and enhance the existing data warehouse.
- Support Master Data Management (MDM), data quality, and governance initiatives.
- Build ETL pipelines using SQL and Alteryx, and prepare datasets for Tableau.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to create scalable data solutions.
- Ensure the robustness and efficiency of data management processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience with SQL Server, specifically in data warehousing.
- Strong knowledge of dimensional modeling and Master Data Management (MDM).
- Experience with ETL processes and tools, particularly Alteryx.
- Familiarity with Tableau for data visualization.
- Understanding of ERP data, with SAP experience being a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid team environment.
