Overview
The Staff Full Stack Engineer role is a fully remote position focused on delivering high-performance TypeScript applications with React front-end and Node back-end components. The engineer will work closely with clients to understand their workflows and lead the development of solutions, leveraging advanced agentic workflows and Claude Code to enhance delivery processes. Reporting directly to the Director of Engineering, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to influence architectural decisions and mentor other engineers.
Responsibilities
- Architect and build complex, high-performance Full Stack TypeScript applications across React and Node.
- Collaborate with clients to interpret requirements and prototype solutions in real-time.
- Drive product thinking and scope features, managing end-to-end delivery.
- Utilize Claude Code and agentic workflows to enhance engineering effectiveness and collaboration.
- Develop accessible and visually appealing UX workflows from design systems.
- Contribute to architectural decisions alongside Principal Engineers.
- Champion a high-quality engineering culture through best practices and peer mentoring.
- Document and maintain workflows to ensure sustainability and future value in projects.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a Full Stack Engineer with strong expertise in TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
- Proficiency in component-driven architecture, state management, and modern toolchains.
- Experience designing RESTful and GraphQL APIs with practical deployment knowledge in cloud environments.
- Exceptional client-facing communication skills with a proven record in Forward Deployed Engineering roles.
- Strong product mindset with experience in driving solutions without direct product ownership.
- Ability to create intuitive UX from low-fidelity designs without waiting for high-fidelity mockups.
- Deep understanding of Claude Code and experience with agentic workflows in software delivery.
