Overview
We are seeking a DV Cleared Storage Engineer to support a high-profile migration project with a government consultancy. This role will involve working within a hybrid arrangement, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient data migration and storage management solutions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct block migration using FC/iSCSI and tools such as Cirrus DMS, CMC, and CMO.
- Implement host-based LVM and VMware Storage vMotion.
- Manage file/NAS migration utilizing DataDobi, Komprise, and Parsec across various protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve technical issues and optimize storage operations.
- Participate in a two-stage interview process for timely recruitment.
Requirements
- Current active DV Clearance is mandatory.
- Proven experience in storage migration projects.
- Familiarity with VMware and Hyper-V storage solutions.
- Knowledge of file and NAS migration tools, including NFS and SMB.
- Experience with data management and storage optimization techniques.
