Overview
We are looking for a Subsea Production Systems Engineer to join our Subsea and Pipelines team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise to provide technical excellence throughout all phases of subsea production systems, from design and definition to installation and operational support, while collaborating with diverse stakeholders within a global engineering environment.
Responsibilities
- Define subsea production system equipment and architecture for concept and FEED studies.
- Contribute to the selection process for initial field layout and architecture.
- Conduct specialist studies for subsea production system expansion and fault rectification.
- Manage the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of new subsea systems and equipment.
- Provide operations support and manage system integrity.
- Collaborate with interface engineering and subsea system management teams.
- Assess and deliver engineering critical tasks to fulfill project control and assurance plans.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in subsea production systems and control technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of subsea production codes and standards.
- Familiarity with subsea control and communication systems, including umbilicals and hydraulic components.
- Experience with Subsea XT hardware and associated industry standards (API 17D/6A).
- Strong skills in mechanical analysis and calculations such as FEA assessments.
- Ability to coordinate and oversee Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and System Integration Tests (SIT).
- Proven communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Hands-on experience in front-end engineering (FEED) for greenfield and brownfield developments.
