Overview
In this contract role as a System Tester, the successful candidate will work closely with an entertainment business to ensure the reliability and performance of enterprise database systems. The position involves utilizing SQL queries and automation tools while collaborating with various stakeholders to verify the functionality of bespoke systems. This role is hybrid, requiring on-site presence two days a week in London.
Responsibilities
- Execute SQL queries to test the reliability and functionality of enterprise database systems.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve issues within bespoke systems.
- Utilize automation tools for efficient testing processes.
- Conduct data manipulation and analysis to support testing requirements.
- Manage testing documentation and track issues using tools like Zephyr or Jira.
Requirements
- Proven experience in executing SQL queries in complex or bespoke systems.
- Familiarity with automation tools for enterprise databases, particularly Oracle.
- Exposure to reporting or data tools such as AuraPlayer.
- Experience with ICE / ICEcube platforms.
- Knowledge of test management and issue tracking tools like Zephyr and Jira.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
