Systems Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Contract Systems Engineer with expertise in Windows and cloud environments for a high-impact six-month project. The selected contractor will work remotely but has the option to use office space in Belfast for a hybrid work arrangement. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and supporting Windows infrastructure, while collaborating with various teams to enhance system performance.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support Windows infrastructure across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Lead upgrade and migration projects, ensuring security and compliance.
• Automate tasks and collaborate across teams to maintain system performance.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in Windows Server (2016–2022) and Active Directory.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure AD / Entra ID.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Familiarity with Intune, Endpoint Manager, and core networking concepts.
• Knowledge of clustering, DFS, and performance monitoring tools.
